On the bank of the East Fork River this this log cabin, sit on your deck and cast a fly and let your worries drift away. You drive down a private road to the end on the edge of the river to your perfect spot. National Forest is on one side of your 6 acres and you will own both sides of the river. The East Fork of the bitterroot is a fly fisherman’s dream. Lots of ripples and a very easy stream to wade along and cast, but once you hit the May hatch the water boils and fishing is a dream come true.
Fall brings on the sound of Elk bugling in the National Forest and the cabin becomes hunting cabin for the season. The Anaconda Pintlar Wilderness is just a few minutes up the road for non-motorized hunting. Needless to say recreational actives from this cabin is unbelievable.
Lost Trail ski area is just down the road a few minutes and miles of snowmobile from the cabin. The cabin has a nice master down stairs and open living kitchen/dinning over looking the river. Upstairs is a private bedroom bath and open loft area. The fireplace keep the cabin warm and cozy. The 1800 sq.ft. of living space is perfect for the family and guest. I have another cabin next door that can be added to this property for a family retreat.
